♥Who is this fair face♥
Character Name:
Maleficent
Age:
27
History:
Nothing is really known about Maleficent’s childhood, most go by rumors. Stupid tales passed around by foolish women who have nothing better to do then weave fantastic tales of a depraved royal family, demonic intervention, abuse, or simply her being the physical manifestation of all that is evil in the world. While none of these scores of stories have either been confirmed nor denied by the wicked fairy, not that anyone has really gotten up the nerve to ask her, most usually ignore the fact that they no nothing of her past and focus on her present. Maleficent and her black magic have been a plague on King Stefan’s lands. Everything from a simple frost that wipes out over half of the kingdom’s food supply in a single afternoon to a flood of disgusting boils and deadly fevers has carried the twisted mark of this majestic conjurer. From her palace high in the Forbidden Mountains this green devil watched the turmoil and despair she caused the people with a nefarious grin. Yet her fun would not last.
Even with the evil woman’s constant meddling the kingdom found one day to rejoice, the christening of the infant princess Aurora. As all the people gathered to welcome this lovely girl to this world the three good fairies arrived to bestow gifts upon the child. After the first two had presented their presents to the princess a clap of thunder echoed around the room and in an extravagant display of her might and power Maleficent and Diablo appeared in the middle of the room. Furious that she wasn’t invited to this joyous occasion the sly witch decided to give her own gift to the precious babe. "Before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday, she shall prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die." With those d.amning words the king yelled for his guards and in a flash of green fire Maleficent was gone and the whole kingdom was in shock. The last of the fairies in a sad attempt to save the child from her fate used her weak magic to twist Maleficent’s spell so that when the princess pricked her finger upon the spindle she wouldn’t die, but fall into a deep sleep to wait for true love's first kiss to awaken her.
After that the three fairies spirited the young child far from her father’s palace and to a small cottage in the woods. Maleficent’s minions spent nearly sixteen years searching for Aurora and once the young princess’s 16th birthday was only a few days away the wicked fairy was infuriated to find that her brain dead servants had spent all this time searching for a baby instead of a blossoming young girl. After sending out her rage in the form of a few well placed lightning bolts she sent Diablo her trustworthy familiar to find the teenage beauty. It didn’t take long and as soon as Aurora was told of who she really was, brought back to her father and mother in the palace, and getting ready to be married to Prince Philip Maleficent had her plan and there was no way it could fail. After kidnapping the prince Maleficent went to Aurora in the form of a small sphere of light and hypnotized the beloved child through a secret passage and up to a spinning wheel where she pricked her finger and collapsed to the floor. The three fairies only saw one solution to this problem. So, flying about the kingdom with their wands they pulled a blanket of sleep over every living being in the kingdom knowing that they would awaken once the curse on the future queen was broken.
Once the three nitwits found out that the valiant Prince Philip was a prisoner in Maleficent’s dungeon they set out to free the hero and hopefully save their treasured princess. Unfortunately the prince escaped her palace and while Maleficent casted a spell to surround Aurora’s kingdom with forest of thick, spiked vines that was not enough. Then the magnificent woman decided to deal with this meddlesome boy herself. Changing her already terrifying form to that of a giant, fire-breathing dragon she attached the prince and almost succeeded in destroying the noble warrior. Seeing that her evil power was too much for the mortal man the three fairies bewitched the sword of Prince Philip and he thrust the gleaming blade into her chest and with one final attempt at destroying the prince she lunged forward crashing down on the edge and causing the cliff to crumble beneath her. The dragon fell over the edge of the cliff and as the smoked cleared all they could see was the villain’s robe a few feet below them, a blade as black as night embedded in it’s chest. It seemed that the weapon had soaked up all the evil in Maleficent. They had defeated the witch and won their happily ever after. . . or so they thought.
No one is quiet sure how Maleficent survived that fatal blow but it is very clear that she did. Years later she resurfaced, madder and stronger then ever before. This time however, she did not have her sites set on some pathetic kingdom and their ditzy princess. Now she had her golden gaze fixed on a plan to gain control of all the worlds in their universe. With scores of other villains at her command the twisted sorceress sought to stomp out all the good and purity in all the worlds giving the lands to those with hearts as black and twisted as her own. Of course all of her fellow lowlifes would answer to Maleficent, who had proclaimed herself the mistress of all evil and no one seemed to argue with her over that. While she’s tried and failed at the attempt to rule over the universe a few times Maleficent was never one to give up.

Dominating is to mild a word. Ever since anyone can remember a strange and oppressing aura has surrounded the regal Maleficent making even some of the mightiest warriors quiver in her presence, and with a wicked chuckle she’ll dispose of these cowards in some of the most terrible ways imaginable without showing the slightest hint of remorse. It may be this witch’s cold and calculating demeanor, manipulative ways, or simply her trademark fury that is so easily turned on anyone foolish enough to stand against her that terrifies anyone in sight but one thing they are all sure of is whenever her hellish rage rears its ugly the best way to remain in one piece is to run as far and as fast as you can least the malicious woman shower you with her deadly bolts. It would seem there is only one being that Maleficent showers her affection upon, her forever faithful pet raven Diablo.

Sheets and sheets of rain poured down from the heavens. Rivers were bursting their banks and all around the kingdom the soil had turned to a swirling brown muck, trapping the feet of anyone foolish enough to venture outdoors. This morning had started out so lovely but once a few men from out in the field spotted a horde of pitch black clouds swarming above the vicious fortress nestled in the midst of the Forbidden Mountains all the townsfolk and nobles knew that some evil was brewing in the distance. They didn’t know why she sent her rage down upon the people, they didn’t know how something so evil was ever created in such a beautiful world, and they didn’t know what that evil was creating in her dark palace but they did know that somehow they had better prepare themselves for the worst. So by royal decree they stopped everything, boarded up their houses, and huddled in the center of the stronghold begging for safety and peeking out every now and then to check on the twisting collection of darkness that grew and grew over the wicked castle. As the king’s solemn eyes traveled over his crowd of subjects he couldn’t help but feel the evil gaze of that demonic witch sweeping the room. Underneath the watchful eye of evil the peasants and royals alike sat in their little groups and prayed. They prayed that whatever it was, it would just come and go quickly and that they’d all be alive in the morning.
A soft chuckle echoed around another throne room as a wicked hand passed over the face of a crying young girl that clung to her mother’s dress practically shaking with fear. A clap of thunder and flash of lighting went off in the distance and the face of the child inside the glass orb melted away and a wider view of a room filled with panicking adults and their cowering children. Her ruby red lips parted in a brilliant and strangely sweet white smile. “They are so,” She paused for a moment as if she were searching for the right word while the large black bird nuzzled against her green hand. “Terrified, my pet.” With a sly grin this devious being, only known to the rest of the world as the black witch Maleficent, drifted her ghastly eyes away from the glowing orb on the top of her golden staff and looked fondly down at her faithful raven Diablo. Stroking the sleek feathers of her beloved bird the dark fairy turned her eyes eagerly back to the green sphere as the face of the king flickered back into sight. He eyes were sad and his cheeks were sunken in, he no longer jumped as the wind wailed and thunder roared. The poor man was a complete wreck. As her wide yellow eyes greedily sucked up every ounce of fear and sorrow in the old king’s face Maleficent’s wicked hands clapped together and a demonic laugh burst out, snaking its way through the barren halls of the evil castle.
A ring of metal against stone as the mighty sorceress leapt up from her icy throne, Diablo flinching at the sudden noise. “Those cowardly fools are just going to hide in the dark! Like a pack of frightened dogs!” Laughing hysterically the tower of a woman wandered across her shadowy throne room and with a malicious grin Maleficent strolled out onto the balcony that over looked the kingdom in the distance. The whole sky was a thick blanket of black and fierce gales moaned as they swept through the mountains blowing Maleficent’s flamboyant cape about madly. “Have you no heroes left for me to dispose of?!” With a bitter laughter the satanic woman shouted her challenge to the fortress on the horizion and it’s spineless ruler. Still cackling with joy the beautiful hellion raised her long arms over her head, the golden staff rising high above the majestic horns that rested atop her depraved head. With a crack of thunder she dramatically swung down her gilded rod and from the emerald orb several streaks of intense green lightning flew toward the once cheerful kingdom. As each of the bolts landed in the clusters of homes that surrounded the palace Maleficent studied the depressing scene before her. The roofs of few of the houses in the town were engulfed in an unnatural fire and the inferno was quickly spreading. As Maleficent stood, an onimous shadow in this hellish storm, the houses were being smothered with her ghostly flames while the rain beat down from the threatening sky and the wind pounded it’s mighty fists against the doors and windows. All this incarnate of pure evil could do was laugh.
