Many years ago, the Augusta sisters, Lyra and Catrina commisioned the construction of a school. But this school would not be your average, run-of-the-mill school. The sisters, both angel/demon, wanted to build a haven for young people of different races, people like themselves, who were descriminated against by normal humans. They believed everyone deserved a proper education, and they would deliver it.
Today, the school is known abroad for its beautiful gothic architecture, large university-like campus, and high standards of learning. Those who graduate from this school become successful in life outside of Augusta. Being a boarding school, the students are safe from any possibly hostile racists on the well-gaurded campus. They are able to live with others like them. Because of this, the atmosphere of Augusta has always been peaceful and happy...until now.
A disagreement has come between the great Augusta sisters. Lyra, the eldest, has begun to let some ordinary humans into the school. These young people are humans without any abilities who feel they have no other options because of mental issues, sexual orientations, family ties, etc. They are discriminated against just like the races traditionally accepted into the institute. However, Catrina has no desire to have these humans allowed into the school. She believes they could never know truely what discrimination feels like and has not forgiven ordinary humans for mentally and emotionally scaring her students.
The arguements between the Co-Headmistresses have become hostile. Catrina has begun to embrace her demon side more and more, studying dark magic. Now it has trickled down into the staff. Even the student have begun to debate the issue. Newly accepted ordinary humans are being bullied and fights are breaking out between races. Rumors are spreading that Catrina is plotting to take full control of the school, while Lyra desprately tries to find the gray area.
